BIKE ROUTES
20 Mi. Ride: Excellent for beginners and family cycling.
Metric Century (64 mi) and Half-Century (32 mi) : Include some challenging hills, mostly ridge-top biking. taking you through the Hoosier National Forest, and at times along the Ohio River.
SCHEDULE
Registration and/or packet pick-up at the registration site from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. C.D.T.
Participants may begin riding after registration and picking up your packet.
Afternoon music on site by local musicians
Wine tasting sponsored by Blue Heron Winery

Routes are marked by the Dan Henry method.
Maps of the routes are available.
SAG Stops provided with snacks, drinks and home-made cookies. Rest room facilities are available at each stop.

From I-64:
Exit 79-Via Hwy 37 S to Tell City, Turn left onto Hwy 237 to Cannelton, Turn left onto Hwy 66 E to Rocky Point, then left to 7757 SR 66 East.
Follow signs to Registration site at Blue Heron Farm-B&B
From Tell City:
Take Hwy 66 E to Rocky Point, Follow signs to registration site at, Blue Heron Farm-B&B at 7757 SR 66 East.
From Hawesville, KY:
Cross bridge to Cannelton, IN, Turn right onto Hwy 66 E to Rocky Point, Follow signs to registration site at Blue Heron Farm-B&B at 7757 SR 66 East.
Rocky Point and Perry County, IN:
- Rocky Point is a southern Perry County, IN community four miles East of Cannelton at the mouth of Deer Creek along the Ohio River. It borders the Hoosier National Forest where hiking trails and camping are plentiful.
- Rocky Point is the site of Blue Heron Vineyards & Winery, plus a world-class Celtic Cross, hand-sculpted from its “mother stone,” for Blue Heron, by Perry Co. artist Greg Harris.
- Rocky Point is also home to the “Waterfront Grille Restaurant” and is the site of numerous bass fishing tournaments throughout the year.
- While in the area, visit the Shubael Little Pioneer Village and Eagle’s Bluff Park overlooking the Cannelton Locks and Dam.
- There are 60,000 acres of public land in Perry County, and bicycling, whether mountain or road, is unsurpassed anywhere in the state.

RELEASE OF ORGANIZERS AND SPONSORS:
In consideration of the acceptance of this application and participation in the Bridge-to-Bridge Blue Heron Bicycle Tour, I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims for damages for death, personal damage which may happen during the event. I hereby release and hold harmless Blue Heron Vineyard, River Valley Bicycle Club and any contributors to this event from and against any and all liabilities arising from or connected with my participation in this event. I further understand that a bicycle is a legal vehicle of the road in the states of Indiana and Kentucky, and I will ride in accordance with both state’s Vehicle Code. I also agree to be a safe and courteous rider and I agree to wear a helmet at all times while riding my bicycle. Entry not valid without a signature.
