Twin Towers Red (red cap) SOLD OUT This red wine is dry but fruity, lightly oaked, and made from locally grown Chambourcin grapes. Its label features the Indiana Cotton Mill in nearby Cannelton, IN. This sandstone structure was Perry County’s first National Historic Landmark.
Twin Towers Red (black cap) We used French and American oak on this Indiana grown DeChaunac, which created a spicy depth to the wine.
Twin Towers Red (silver cap) Coming soon!! Hungarian oak gives this wine depth and compliments the berry notes of the DeChaunac grapes. We believe this is one of best in recent years!
Prime 23 (cream cap 2015 harvest, black cap 2016 harvest, gold cap 2017 harvest) Dry, fruity, spicy, oaked, and made from locally grown Leon Millot, Foch and Villard grapes. "Prime 23" refers to the Celtic cross carved for Blue Heron Vineyards by local artist Greg Harris. The sandstone cross was carved using multiples of the prime number 23, was built in 23 months and leans approximately 23 degrees.
23 Degrees (silver cap) SOLD OUT! We are REALLY excited about this bold red utilizing Norton and Villard Noir French-American hybrids! Aged using Hungarian oak, it has depths and deep color.
Dry Vidal (green bottle / cream cap) The 2018 harvest proved to be a great one for Vidal. This Indiana-grown grape produced a dry, but smooth wine boasting mango notes. So far, our dry and our sweeter palette customers have enjoyed it!
Semi-Medium Dry Wines
23 Degrees (gold cap 2016 harvest) From Indiana grown Villard Noir and DeChaunac grapes, this medium-dry red wine with overtones of plum features a slightly sweeter start than the Prime 23 mentioned above. Its title refers to the lean of the Celtic cross rock- which is amazingly close to the lean of the axis of the earth…23 degrees…coincidence? We think not!
Prime 23 (gold cap) Medium-dry, fruity and oaked, the 2015 version is from Perry County grown Leon Millot, Foch and Frontenac grapes. This utilizes the same "Prime 23" label as above as it has similar fruity characteristics, but not as dry.
