Cottages at Blue Heron Winery

1. "Above & Beyond" Cottage has two bedrooms, one bath, a spacious Great Room with a fully equipped kitchen, and a wrap-around porch complete with rocking chairs and a view of the Ohio River and Dam. The comfortably furnished cottage is within walking distance of Blue Heron Winery and the Celtic Cross.  Breakfast in included at this cottage.
2. "Cru-View" Cottage set in our vineyard is slightly over one mile from the winery. It is incredibly peaceful with unique decor and a patio right at the lake's edge. The cottage features one queen bed, a queen sleeper sofa tucked away on one end of the cottage with a privacy drapery, a Great Rom with a fully equipped kitchen, and one bath. Take a walk around the lakes and through the Cru ("Cru" is "vineyard" in French- thus, "Cru-View)." Wi-Fi is included at this cottage.

Both cottages are equipped with amenities listed below in the blue area.

Both cottages are open for reservations. ​​Price per first night (includes all taxes and fees). A second night is less.

Rules

We must have at least 24 hour notice for booking. Cash or check only made payable to "Blue Heron".
Renters must be at least 23 years of age. ​
Though we love children and pets, we are not allowed to have them in our cottage. We are sorry.

Above & Beyond Cottage features French doors leading to the spacious deck and comfortable seating and a unique wood slab wall as an art feature.

Cru-View Cottage features a wonderful covered porch and patio that reaches the water's edge.

Amenities

Great Rooms

The great room of "Above & Beyond" offers a ​sleeper sofa, dining table and chairs. There are books, magazines, cards, puzzles and games for your enjoyment. This is an opportunity to unplug and unwind. There is no TV or wifi. 

Bathrooms

The Bathrooms have step-in showers, with basic toiletries including locally-made soap from "Slippery Hippy," towels, hair dryer,  shampoo, conditioner and basic first aid kits. 

Kitchens

The kitchens offer the comforts of home each with a refrigerator, stove, microwave and sink. Each also has a toaster, drip-style coffee maker with coffee and assorted teas, pots and pans, dishes and utensils. An outdoor gas grill is also provided at each cottage.

Bedrooms

"Above & Beyond" features two bedrooms, Queen beds in each. Both rooms have ceiling fans. Linens, iron, and ironing board are provided.
"Cru-View" features one Queen bedroom and a Queen sofa bed. Rooms have ceiling fans. Linens, iron, and ironing board are provided.
